EPYSA Grassroots 7v7 Course Hosted by Southern Lehigh Soccer Club

Who = Current u9 and u10 travel coaches, rec coaches and any interested parents who may be interested to coach in the future
When = Saturday February 1st , 2025
Where = Southern Lehigh Public Library for classwork, Southern Lehigh HS gym for 'field' work
Cost = $77.34
How long = course will start 9am - 11am at library, followed by 11:15am - 2pm at HS gym
Course Details:
The 7v7 In-Person Course is a four hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically, coaches will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy, Play-Practice Play Methodology, the Six Tasks of a Coach, and the characteristics of players aged 9-10. The course will also ask each coach to reflect on their experiences to develop action steps for personal growth in the Six Tasks (Coaching Games, Coaching Training Sessions, Leading the Team, Leading the Player, Managing the Performance Environment, and Leadership

2024/2025 INDOOR SOCCER
Indoor Soccer registration is closed if interested email Coach Dan Davila at coachdanbtaa@gmail.com
Currently (31) BTAA teams are playing indoor soccer in divisions from 2018 born players to Mens over 40.
SOCCER PROGRAMS
BTAA SOCCER ACADEMY
Our Soccer Academy is an inhouse program for our youngest players and is designed to introduce players to the game. The focus is on FUN and developing fundamental soccer skills through age-appropriate drills and games. We typically plan 6 to 8 Saturday AM sessions in both SPRING and FALL.
BTAA U7 Soccer
U7 In-house Program and instructional league that practices one (1) time per week and generally plays one game a week on Saturday mornings.
U9 TO U19 RECREATIONAL SOCCER
Teams play in the Blue Mountain Youth Soccer League in both Fall and spring seasons. Spring season starts in April and runs until June.
Fall season starts the end of August and runs until 1st week of November.
BTAA INDOOR SOCCER
Each winter BTAA Soccer enters teams to play indoor at the Turf Club in Allentown. Games start early December and end early March.
BTAA TRAVEL SOCCER
Teams play in the Inter County Soccer League in both fall and spring seasons. Spring season starts in April and runs until June, the fall season starts the end of August and runs until 1st week of November.
